satisfying stay but some aspects need improvement
The sea view from our room was stunning, providing a lovely backdrop throughout our stay. The staff were welcoming and quick to assist with any queries we had.
The ensuite bathroom felt outdated compared to the rest of the room.

Stunning seaside views, Strategic ferry port location, Refurbished and modern facilities
The room layout resembles a confusing maze!!! Stains on carpets and leaky bathrooms detracted from comfort!!! Significant noise from the bar area made it hard to get a good night’s sleep!!!

The modern decor of the Rose was charming, and I appreciated the welcoming atmosphere. The well-refurbished bar made me feel right at home, allowing easy access to grab a drink after a delightful walk along the coast.
More comfortable seating options for relaxation needed.

Great stay with a sea view!
We had a lovely night with a fab sea view room. It was clean, comfy, and the bed was super supportive. The brekkie was freshly cooked and hit the spot! Only thing was the parking app being a bit of a hassle. would prefer cash. Otherwise, the dining area had some nice vibes too.

Location offers quick access to the coast, perfect for a stroll along the shoreline. Deluxe room with sea view boasts decent decor and comfortable beds, making for a restful evening.
Room 8 was cramped, especially in the shower area, making it feel claustrophobic. One bedside lamp was insufficient, and the shower screen handle was loose, causing it to fall off. Blinds didn't block out enough light and were stuck, while a constant hum from an exterior unit disrupted the quiet. Traffic noise from the nearby corner might bother light sleepers, and there were concerns about the security of the door's deadbolt due to it not functioning properly. better attention to detail is needed to enhance the experience.

Great location and very friendly staff. Wi-Fi was weak, though.

Spacious room with a nice view
We spent 3 nights in a room with a fab view of the ferry port. The breakfast was decent, but the full English was a bit of a letdown – the fried egg was dry and bacon overcooked. The evening menu had a good variety though. Really enjoyed the spacious room, but the bath was missing a rinse shower, which was odd.
